Creative Moorlands

Winter Meet – Friday 17th January 2025, 10am-12pm at Leek Building Society Conference Room, Strangman Street, Leek, ST13 5DQ

Join us for our fourth Creative Moorlands get together, a place for artists and creatives across the Moorlands to gather, share information about what they’re working on, build new networks, find out about funding opportunities, share resources, and find ways to support and inspire one another. This is a chance to meet other creatives from across the Moorlands, and to get updates from the OUTSIDE team and the local council team about their upcoming plans. Book your free tickets here.

Join the Creative Moorlands group on Facebook here.

1-2-1 Sessions with the OUTSIDE team

As part of our support for the cultural sector in the Moorlands we are offering 1-2-1 sessions via Zoom. You can book a 1-2-1 with the Director of OUTSIDE Sarah Bird. Occasionally the Chair of the OUTSIDE board Susan Clarke or our Operations Manager Katie Aldous may also be available.

These sessions are free to creatives across the Moorlands. They can be used to explore ideas or seek advice, if you are creating an event, looking for fundraising advice, developing your creative practice, building partnerships and new networks, or looking for information on organisational management, business or just fancy a catch up and chat about the cultural sector, please book a session.

Dates for next sessions to be released soon.

Work Placements

Looking for a placement, work experience (formal or informal) or an internship?

OUTSIDE offer a flexible approach to work experience, skills development and placements. There are a range of different opportunities available including digital marketing, business administration, events management, community arts and fundraising.

We welcome a conversation with individuals or educational establishments about what that experience could look like.

Looking for an experience to support your studies, career or just to try something new?
