Indoor Trestle Market. These include disabled toilet facilities. These will be open for the
entirety of the event.
·The terrain here is paved, however, this route requires attendees to access through the car
park.
·Volunteer stewards will be stationed nearby to guide and assist anyone who needs help
finding or accessing these facilities.
Sensory Needs:
Pride in the Moorlands will be a lively celebration, and music will be playing throughout the
day in and around the Leek Indoor Trestle Market. We recognise that loud environments can
be overstimulating, particularly for neurodivergent people.
If you feel like this will affect you, we encourage you to bring your own noise-cancelling
headphones or earplugs. We will also have a supply of single-use earplugs available, which
can be requested from any of our volunteer stewards, who will be happy to help.
All attendees are also welcome to take time to rest in our designated quiet space located
inside the OUTSIDE Market stall, which will offer a calm, low-sensory environment.
There is no expectation for you to dress up however Pride in the Moorlands is an inclusive
event and we welcome all self-expression.
If you have any enquires about access needs, feel free to contact us at
access@outsidearts.org we take a flexible approach to access and are happy to talk about
how we can support you to get the most out of the event.
We want everyone to enjoy Pride in the Moorlands in a way that works for them.
