Museum of the Market – Nov 2024 onwards
Come and say hello at the Museum of the Market
Leek Butter Market - every Wed, Fri, Sat 8.30am-4pm
OUTSIDE has opened a stall, the Museum of the Market, in the newly refurbished Leek Butter Market. The stall is a hub to take part in fun craft activities, tell stories about the market, and learn about OUTSIDE projects and events.
Our market stall is also officially registered as a Warm Welcome Space. Pop by for a chat and a hot drink.
We’ll also be hosting a series of pop-ups at the stall over the coming months.
Leek Butter Market is open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 8.30am – 4pm.
Come and say hello, or view the wonderful ‘Museum of the Market’ created using oral histories from the market and designed by Kirsty Barlow!
If you can’t make it to the market, you can listen to the oral histories HERE.
Coming up at the market:
Wednesday 14th October: The Leek Morris brigade
Friday 16th October: Amanda Dale, Staffordshire Police
Saturday 17th October: Artist Amanda Billings
Do you support a local group? Are you an artist who could demonstrate or sell your work? Would you like to spread news of a local service or opportunity? Get in touch by emailing volunteer@outsidearts.org to book your pop-up at the OUTSIDE market stall.
