OUTSIDE Spaces : Biddulph Library – volunteer days 4+5 August
Get involved in creating Biddulph Library’s new OUTSIDE Space

An underused outdoor area at Biddulph Library is being transformed as part of the OUTSIDE community arts programme.
Come to Biddulph Library's volunteer days on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August from 10am-4pm to help build the new community garden.

Following the engagement phase where library users and the wider Biddulph community shared their thoughts and ideas about what they would like their outside space to be, it’s now time to create the Library’s new community garden.
Get involved in building, painting and planting the garden. Come to Biddulph Library’s volunteer days on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th August from 10am-4pm – join for 30 minutes or 2 days, they will be happy to see you!
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Dress for the weather (closed toe shoes would be ideal). Refreshments and biscuits will be available throughout both days. If you’re staying for the day, you may want to bring your lunch.
Talk to a member of staff in the Library or contact them on 01782 485491 or email biddulph.library@staffordshire.gov.uk to register your interest.
OUTSIDE has commissioned outdoor arts organisation Wild Rumpus to create the garden. The project is supported by the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council Community Climate and Nature Action Fund and the Severn Trent Community Fund.
