Join us for a spectacular weekend as we light up the Staffordshire Moorlands with pride and joy!
The first ever Pride in the Moorlands will shine a light on our diverse communities with a weekend-long celebration of our local LGBTQ+ community.
Over three days this June, follow the Pride Torch Relay and join in with performances, workshops, music and more!

Follow the Pride Torch Relay, symbolising unity, visibility and pride, as it travels across towns and villages across the Moorlands, ending with a spectacular party in Leek.

Friday 27th June
5.30pm: Pride Torch Relay kick-off, walk in a loop from Wellspring Methodist Church, Cheadle
6:30pm: ‘Pride’ film screening in Wellspring Methodist Church, Cheadle – An unlikely true story forms the basis of this warm-hearted, funny film. Pride will leave you feeling galvanised and uplifted. Certification: 15 (this event is completely free and non-ticketed.)
8pm-9pm: Pride Bingo at Great Wood Community Hall, Tean
Saturday 28th June
10am-11:30am: Waterhouses Pride in Art & Nature
2pm: Walk from Biddulph Town Hall to The Royal Oak Pub, Biddulph
3pm-late: The Royal Oak Pride celebrations, Biddulph
Sunday 29th June
10am-12pm: Endon Pride Cake, Endon Village Hall – free oatcakes and cake
1pm-8pm: Pride in the Moorlands Party in Leek Market Place and Trestle Market
1pm: Leek Pride Walk, Leek Market Place
1:45pm-2:15pm: Family Catwalk Extravaganza with Ghetto Fabulous, Leek Market Place – Four dancers go head to head in a dance, fashion and lip sync competition in this interactive event where the audience decides the winner.
2:15-3pm: Dr. Christopher Owen from Coliberate talks about Pride as a global movement and invites questions in a safe space, Leek Trestle Market
3:30-5pm: Big Fatt Dance Party with Fatt Projects, Leek Trestle Market – Audiences will be guided through a range of accessible interactive dance moments including disco line-dancing, square dances, and soul trains. Expect powerhouse vocals and wall-to wall disco, dance, and club classics to get audiences dancing and singing their hearts out.
5pm-8pm: Drag DJ, Leek Trestle Market
