Pride in the Moorlands Meetings – Sep 2024 – Ongoing

Everyone is welcome to join our Pride in the Moorlands Steering Group and help shape the future of Pride in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

After two fantastic Pride in the Moorlands events, we’re bringing people together again to share ideas, build on what we’ve created so far and start thinking about what Pride could look like next.

Through Pride in the Moorlands, we want LGBTQ+ people to feel a stronger sense of community, connection and pride in themselves and the place they live. We also want to create opportunities to celebrate and explore the people, stories and events that have shaped LGBTQ+ life in the Moorlands.

We want local people to be at the heart of what happens next.

If you’re from the Staffordshire Moorlands and have ideas about Pride, we want to hear from you. What would you like to see? What matters to you? And how can Pride continue to grow and develop in the Moorlands?

You don’t need any previous experience to get involved. Our steering group meetings are open to members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as allies who want to support the community and help make something brilliant happen with and for local people.

Whether you’ve been involved with Pride in the Moorlands before or this is your first time, you’re very welcome.

Come along, meet others, share your thoughts and help shape the future of Pride in the Moorlands.

Refreshments will be provided.
