The Festival of Brilliant Steering-Group Meetings – Jan-Jul 2026

The Festival of Brilliant is coming back to Biddulph Old Hall in 2026 and we’d love you to be part of shaping it.
We’re inviting local people to join our Festival of Brilliant steering group and help guide this much-loved celebration of books, stories and creativity. We are especially looking for anyone to join the group who has skills in finance, event planning, programming, admin, marketing or if you just really love books!
This is an especially exciting year to get involved as 2026 is the National Year of Reading. With your ideas and experience, we can make the festival bigger, brighter and more brilliant than ever.
So why not come along and let us know what you would like to see?

Wednesday 15th April 2026 – 5:00-7:00pm
Wednesday 13th May 2026 – 5:00-7:00pm
Wednesday 10th June 2026 – 5:00-7:00pm
You’re welcome to join in person or online – the meetings will be hybrid. If you’re able to, drop an email over to our new Festival of Brilliant project manager Hester at hester.cox@outsidearts.org to let us know how you’ll be joining (so we can plan snacks or send the link), but you’re also very welcome to just turn up on the day.
