FREE Storytelling & Shadow Puppetry Workshops with The Magic Lantern

Join The Magic Lantern for a series of fun, creative workshops exploring storytelling and shadow puppetry ahead of this year’s Festival of Brilliant.

Working together, participants will help create a brand-new shadow puppetry performance to be showcased as part of Festival of Brilliant in July. Whether you’re a budding storyteller, love getting creative, or simply want to try something new, these free sessions are a great opportunity to get involved.

Workshop Dates

For young people aged 9–17
Wednesday 10 June, 5.30pm–7.30pm
The Family Hub, Biddulph

For young children and families
Friday 12 June, 9.30am–11.30am
The Family Hub, Biddulph (as part of Breakfast Club)

For young people aged 9+
Friday 12 June, 6.30pm–8.00pm
The Zone Youth and Community Centre, Biddulph

For young people aged 9+
Monday 6 July, 6.30pm–8.00pm
The Zone Youth and Community Centre, Biddulph

Please note: filming will take place during the workshop on 6 July.
