Waymaking Celebration – 23 Oct

Sharing successes and learnings

A Stick By A Tree

Gradbach Mill, 23rd October, 11am-2pm

A Flower Pattern Made From Nature

Over the last few months, landscape artist James Brunt and vocal artist Eleanor Hooper have worked alongside outdoor enabler and coach, Lorna Stoddart, to encourage local people to explore their relationship with nature as they spend time in landscapes that define the Moorlands.

We are inviting everyone who has participated in, supported or worked on Waymaking, an OUTSIDE landscapes project, which since April 2024 has begun to travel across the wilds of the Staffordshire Moorlands. The project will continue taking local people from their towns to The Roaches and beyond through autumn 2024 into 2025.

During this event you will be able to view some of the work created, experience breath-work, song, play with sound and create together. Gradbach Mill will provide bright, fresh, home-cooked food to share. We will be sharing some of our successes and learnings with you as we’ve found our way through this truly unique project.
