Freelance Opportunity

The Staffordshire Moorlands’ Creative People and Places Consortium is seeking a Freelance Creative Communities Producer for OUTSIDE, an exciting new participatory arts project in a stunning rural area of north Staffordshire including part of the Peak District National Park.

Contract initially for a 4 month period January 2024 to May 2024

Fee: £4,000 for 4 months

Position: Freelance

Hours: approx. 1 day per week

Main base: Staffordshire Moorlands

OUTSIDE has the ambition to bring about a rural arts revolution in our isolated rural settlements, villages, and market towns of Biddulph, Cheadle and Leek, changing local experiences and increasing participation levels.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and empathetic individual who has a passion for social change and the role arts and culture can play in this. Our Creative Communities Producer will identify, engage, empower, and nurture communities. Breaking down barriers to engagement they will help to identify meaningful and relevant programming for people and places.
