Katie Aldous is OUTSIDE's New Director

We are pleased to announce that after an open and competitive recruitment process OUTSIDE‘s Operation manager Katie Aldous is now our Director! We couldn’t be happier to have her steering the ship (Driving the tractor!), here are a few words from Katie about her new position with OUTSIDE:

“I am incredibly proud to be stepping into the role of Director of the OUTSIDE Creative People and Places programme, and to continue leading our rural arts revolution. Together, we have, and will continue to, tell the stories of both the people and the place, creating, connecting, and supporting creative activity across this wild and beautiful landscape and throughout our three market towns.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far: our volunteers, audiences, participants, partners, and advocates. I’m really looking forward to continuing our work with you. I’m also excited about the opportunity to develop new work, uncover new stories, and welcome new people to join us as we enter our new phase of funding for 2026–2029.
